Dear Friend,

We have so missed our retreats with you! And we anxiously look forward to the time when we can be together again. We’ve been in contact with Q Center and they have been ultra-diligent to make their spaces safe for anyone who attends functions there. Among other things, they will help us practice physical spacing and will alter the way they serve meals. 

The TC16 team has been looking at what adjustments are needed for the community to gather while operating in a way that feels safe. And toward the end of August our TC board will meet to discern the best way for all our communities to move forward with their scheduled upcoming retreats in light of the current pandemic.

It's important for the board to have as much information about what you're thinking as possible. To that end, we have a few questions we’d like to ask in a 5-10 minute survey. After the board meets, we will send an update, probably early September. 

We know that filling out surveys is not everyone’s favorite activity AND you know we care about what works for you and what you feel you can do. In some of the questions we ask how you might feel several months from now...do your best to answer as clearly as you’re able. If you want to explain anything further or share a prayer request, there will be an “Anything Else?” field at the end of the survey that you can use to clarify anything, share a prayer request or any other thoughts. Please complete the survey by Monday, August 17th.

This is truly an unfolding situation as conditions change, guidelines evolve and facilities adjust. We value all that you can tell us about what you’re thinking. If you have questions for us, please don’t hesitate to email Dina Coffey at dcoffey@transformingcenter.org.

Virtual Meetings

We will not be holding another virtual time together before our November 16-18 retreat. Please feel free to schedule a time with your small group, if that would be life-giving to you.


Reflection Paper Due Date
The retreat #5 paper was due July 31st. If you missed the deadline, please complete yours as soon as possible to keep your progress moving forward. Let us know when you plan to submit your paper. We will inform your reader and the record keeper.
