Do you have or know high school seniors (class of 2021) who would benefit from a prestigious science experience this summer?
The National Youth Science Camp is a FREE 3+ week experience for 2 delegates from each state. This camp usually occurs in the mountains of West Virginia, but this year it will be held virtually from June 28 – July 21.
Here are some of the highlights:
- Daily lectures and seminars with leading scientists
- Directed studies alongside visiting and resident STEM professionals
- Engaging activities in the natural, physical, computer sciences, and creative art
- Opportunities for delegates to engage with STEM professionals, staff, and each other in fun and meaningful way
- Special events and surprise guests throughout NYSCamp
4.5 hour commitment per day, mostly in the late afternoon/evening hours. - Delegates attend free of charge
Eligible 2021 seniors must apply by February 28, 2021 and the Minnesota Department of Education will select the two Minnesota delegates who will attend this year.
