The June 2020 issue of Louisville Medicine introduced Dr. Monalisa Tailor as our new GLMS President. We feature an introduction from Dr. Tailor about her vision for the year as well as a collection of heartfelt stories from her friends, family and colleagues.
GLMS Foundation is hard at work planning and preparing for our 10th Annual Doctor’s Cup. This event is taking place as we follow the CDC’s and Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s guidelines for safety and social distancing during COVID-19. The 2020 Annual Meeting of the Kentucky Medical Association (KMA) will be held virtually for the first time this year. This year’s theme is “I AM KMA: More than Medicine” and will celebrate the accomplishments of physicians as leaders in our community. More details will be released in the coming weeks, but the virtual meeting will take place in August 2020. For more information, visit kyma.org.
