Rutherford Works Promotes CTE Day on the Hill
On February 12, 2019 representatives from Rutherford Works Industry Councils, Rutherford County Schools, TCAT Murfreesboro/Smyrna and the Rutherford County Commission visited with members of the Rutherford County delegation and other state leaders to ask for the continued support of Career & Technical Education in our public schools. The group encouraged support for Governor Lee's GIVE legistation, support for the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate and funding to allow more high school students to sit for industry certifications.
