4-H Fall Kick-Off Committee Seeking HelpI am wondering if there would be 4-H members who would be interested in helping plan the annual 4-H Fall Kick-Off Meeting. I would like to have a rally for the 4-H officers and general leaders to start the year off strong and get everyone excited again. Please let me know if you are interested. I am looking for a few youth leaders as well as general leaders. I would like to have one short planning meeting before the kick-off to plan out the meeting.
The date for the kick-off is Wednesday, October 4, 6:30 pm at the UWO Fond du Lac Campus. I will be reaching out to all those who are committed to helping plan this event in the next two weeks to schedule the planning meeting.

| Cloverbud Day Camp: ArtTwenty-seven youth participated in Cloverbud Art Camp. Cloverbuds started off art camp by getting to know each other followed by rock painting. Each of the youth learned about sanding with a simple woodworking project. Each youth sanded with coarse sandpaper and finished their projects with fine sandpaper. Youth decorated the campus sidewalks with chalk art and completed a chalk obstacle course. The youth had lunch outside as it was a beautiful day. After lunch, youth practiced different watercolor techniques and learned a little bit about oil pastels. CD animals were made from recycled CDs, gems, and cardstock. Some youth got really creative during this project. The scratch art magnets were a hit. A scavenger hunt outside was completed by finding different things of various colors. The youth finished the afternoon off by completing a stained glass turtle or hot air balloon project. Many of the youth enjoyed our colorful trail-mix snack. A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped facilitate this day and the youth leaders who helped out!
