Our December Decades of Decadance Auction will be held on Wednesday, December 7th, starting at 11AM. As always, we will be offering remote or in-person previews by appointment from November 14th-18th & again from November 28th-December 2nd.

Highlights include the Couture Paquin Summer Evening Cape shown here, the 1955 brocaded Dior New York Evening Gown pictured below, a rare Patterned Silk Pelisse, c. 1820 and a collectors pair of Vivienne Westwood/ McLaren Pirate trousers, A/W 1981-82.

This auction will include clothing, textiles & accessories from  numerous museums including a large collection of Emilio Pucci & Missoni knitwear from The Museum at  FIT, regional and historical dress from the Museum of History and Industry, Chinese and Japanese robes and textiles from the Louisiana State Museum, Regency and Victorian Era costumes and textiles from The Ohio State University Historic Costumes & Textiles Collection, and early 20th century evening garments, workwear, military uniforms, stage-worn costumes and regional dress from oldest costume house in the country A.T. Jones & Sons. 

As always you can find our  Absentee and Phone Bid forms at the bottom of our home page. Use these forms to fill in and securely submit your bids in advance of the sale. If you're more comfortable using our  partner platform Live Auctioneers we will continue to offer bidding there for several more sales, though we encourage all clients to register with our new bidding platform for increased convenience and reliability.
