"What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies."  ~Rudy Giuliani
First Grade Grandparents' Day
St. Michael's was delighted to welcome over 110 grandparents to our School on Friday for a fun-filled morning of singing, love notes and family tree activities. This annual First Grade tradition has been a part of St. Michael's culture for decades and is a special time for children and grandparents to connect and spend time together.
Many of our grandparents and special guests traveled near and far to be a part of this day. Thank you so much for coming! (And many thanks to all of the first grade families who volunteered to make this event such a success!) Be sure to check out the School's Facebook page for more fun photos and videos of the day!
 Important Announcements:
 Easter Holiday
A friendly reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, April 14 and Monday, April 17.
Our Extended Day program will be open on Monday, April 17 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Please email Allyson Steele if you need care.  Care for this day is free for families signed up for the 3- or 5-day Core Extended Day Program or $35 for the day for drop-ins.
Faculty News
With mixed emotions we share that Michael Jones, Middle School Dean of Students and Science/Design Teacher, will be moving on next year. Mr. Jones '95 will be joining his father Perry and brother Ryan '92, both dentists, to help launch a 3D medical imaging company. While we are excited for the Jones family, we're incredibly sad to lose such a beloved and valuable member of our faculty. Rest assured, Mr. Jones will still be around campus as the proud father of Reid '24 and Madison '26 and spouse to second Grade Teacher, Kensey Jones. A search for a new Dean of Students has been launched.
