Peer Tutoring Available for New Grad Students and Select Courses
|
Georgia Tech is excited to launch its pilot partnership with Knack, the fastest-growing peer learning platform for college students, to offer specialized tutorial services for select first-year graduate courses. Beginning this fall, first-year graduate students will be able to access free peer tutoring for select grad courses. Peer tutoring is available for on-campus and online students.

Graduate students interested in representing their College and enhancing the graduate student experience are invited to consider running for the Graduate Student Senate. Interested persons have until August 27 to submit an application. Senate elections are open from August 28 until September 2, 2024.

The Pathbreakers Fellows Program provides exceptional STEM Ph.D. students with an opportunity to expand their mentoring network, enhance professional skills, and receive additional financial support during their Ph.D. program.

Presidential Management Fellows Program

The Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program is administered by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. The PMF Program is a flagship leadership development program at the entry level for advanced degree candidates. The PMF program provides some sustenance during the first years of employment and encourages leadership development, ultimately encouraging and leading to a career in the government. The PMF Class of 2025 The application opens at 12:00 p.m. Eastern, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, and closes at 12: 00 p.m. Eastern, on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024.

Wellness Opportunity: Open Enrollment for Student Health Insurance Program (SHIP)
|
The enrollment/waiver period for Georgia Tech’s Student Health Insurance Program (SHIP) provided by Stamps Health Services opened on July 22 and closes on September 27. This program is available for enrolled undergraduate and graduate students and their eligible dependents who do not already have insurance and includes comprehensive covered benefits (medical, dental, vision, prescription, and worldwide travel). W.E. Welcome You is an annual event to introduce the Wellness Empowerment Staff to Georgia Tech students. Come meet the W.E. Center and engage in a jammed-packed day full of education, fun activities, and resources to help Georgia Tech students understand the various programs and services offered at the Wellness Empowerment Center.
