Join Us for SMBA Championship Fun!
Come out and CHEER at the SMBA Finals on Thursday, February 8th in the Middle School Singleton Campus Gym. As a time-honored tradition, we hope our K-8 Dragons will come and support the teams!
This night of family fun and great basketball begins at 6:15 p.m. with a SMPA-sponsored s'mores roast in the Middle School gym parking lot before the game (weather permitting). For the safety of our students, parents should accompany their children to roast s'mores. The game begins at 7 p.m. Go Dragons!

Sixth Grade VMFA Field Trip REMINDERS
Who: 6th grade students
What: Field Trip to the VMFA: Viewing Antiquities and Terracotta Soldiers Exhibit
When: Tuesday, Feb. 6
Drivers Arrive: 9:30 a.m. for 10 a.m. arrival at VMFA--arrive back at school around 2 p.m.
Additional Information: Students should bring money to purchase lunch at the VMFA. Students need to view the menu from the Cafe and have a selection in mind before attending the field trip. Additionally, in order to attend, students should be dressed in field trip attire: skirt, dress, slacks with a dressy shirt; pants (no shorts) and a button down shirt. No tie or jacket necessary. No denim. Please be sure students wear comfortable shoes--sneakers are encouraged as we will spend the majority of the day on our feet.

Magic Dragon Day T-Shirt Art Contest
Calling all St M artists! Your dragon artwork could be chosen to appear on the 2018 Magic Dragon Day T-Shirts! Contest Rules:
1. All entries must be submitted on a piece of white paper (8.5 x 11 inches) and include a picture of a dragon. (No need to include the School name.)
2. Please use a black marker or black ink pen (no colors or pencil) so that the design can be copied easily onto a shirt.
3. Write your name and grade in pencil on the back of the drawing.
4. Submit your entry to the office (Bon Air or Singleton) by the end of the school day on Wednesday, February 21.

Get Your Tickets to Willy Wonka Kids!Tickets for the Middle School musical Willy Wonka Kids go on sale on Tuesday, February 6. Tickets are $7 and may be purchased from both the Lower School and Middle School front offices. (You may also call Erbie Godwin at 272-3514 x102 to reserve tickets.)
We look forward to seeing our K-8 families at this fun and energetic show! The Middle School Great Hall is being transformed into a magical chocolate factory and the music will delight audiences of all ages!

Need Childcare Over Spring Break?Kids love emojis so we created an action-packed spring break camp that turns those cute little yellow faces into action packed STEAM adventures! From Silly Emoji Day to Sunglasses Cool Emoji Day, our Challenge Island tribes will cry tears of joy as they ride their unicorns into an emoji-inspired world they will never forget.
