Penn Charter Summer Camps offer more choices than ever, with more than 30 camps. Because summer should be an opportunity to try something new – or to dive into something we already love – Penn Charter has camps that explore science, creativity, Spanish immersion and sports broadcasting.

New this year, sports broadcaster Joe DeCamara, host on sports talk WIP 94.1, will run a camp to give kids and teens hands-on experience with play-by-play, hosting a talk show and conducting TV interviews.  
The newest in PC’s series of science camps is Drone Camp, in which kids will use Syma XIIC drones to learn flight basics and then complete an obstacle course, high altitude, photo and safe-landing challenge. 
Musical Instrument Design and Creation Camp teaches how to build instruments with laser cutters and 3D printers to create ukuleles, djembe drums and flutes.
Two Spanish camps will explore environmental issues and delve into the rich cultures of Latin America.

AIM Academy Summer Enrichment Program  (July 3 – July 28)
Children entering Kindergarten – 12 grade enjoy summer learning and summer fun with opportunities to explore their creative interests in a “can-do” environment, increase the acquisition of reading and math skills and decrease summer learning loss. AIM campers enjoy three full hours of literacy and academic instruction each morning and innovative STEAM and recreation workshops in the afternoon. This summer, campers in our Elementary Program will join an expedition to the ends of the earth from the Arctic to Antarctica in our hands-on, arts-based humanities program featuring small group reading and math instruction. Middle School and 9th & 10th Graders develop executive function skills and focus on individualized reading and writing instruction with afternoon workshops including filmmaking, robotics, video-game design, science, sports and more while 11th & 12th  graders hoping for an Early Edge on college can prepare for the ACT exam in a unique, small-group instructional setting designed to target each student’s
areas of need.

Riverbend Environmental Education Center Summer Exploration Camp

Riverbend campers have been enjoying the great outdoors on our 30 acre nature preserve for 35 years. Riverbend welcomes more than 600 campers each summer for programs onsite and across the region with Navigator sessions for 10-13 year olds. While growing each year, Riverbend remains relevant by creating lesson plans fueled by curiosity, exploration and inquiry. Kids from ages 3-13 spend their days exploring our stream, meadow, forest and ponds in search of animals, plants, and bugs. Riverbend educators use these opportunities to encourage campers to practice 21st century skills like resiliency, self-reflection and grit. Each week focuses on a different nature theme; from Nature’s Superheroes to Wilderness Survival to Little Einsteins.

Hot Shot Sports Training was started on a simple premise: Improve a player's skills and confidence and results will follow. Coach Mark, founder of Hot Shot Sports Training, invites basketball players of all ages and skill levels to join his hands-on, energetic one-hour small group training sessions this summer. These small group sessions provide a unique development experience in which players are challenged through both instructor-led drills and peer competition. Each session focuses on multiple skills that all players need to master. Feel free to join every week or just when you need a little extra motivation to keep your skill sets sharp.

Wolf Performing Arts Center (Wolf PAC) has unique summer programs for all who enjoy theatre in grades K-12. Campers will act, sing and dance in a full-day program. With an option for one-week (a review-style show) or two-week (a Broadway Junior show) sessions, campers work toward a final performance for families to enjoy. Campers also expand their creativity and love of the performing arts in a wide variety of engaging electives such as improvisation, playwriting, Broadway dance, a capella singing and much more!
