Good morning! The School of Architecture has a new name: the Richard A. McMahan School of Architecture. The First Friday Parade starts this evening to celebrate tomorrow's football season opener; The University is closed Monday for Labor Day and Our Clemson will return on Tuesday.

What to know today:

Clemson is pleased to unveil a new name for its School of Architecture: the Richard A. McMahan School of Architecture. The name is thanks to an unprecedented gift from the late Richard “Dick” McMahan ’54, HD ’06, a distinguished alumnus, and his wife Mary “Dinky” McMahan.

As part of the Workday@Clemson preparation process, Kronos will be temporarily unavailable for all Clemson employees from September 4 at 1 p.m. to September 7 at 11:59 p.m. During this window, employees will not be able to access the system to track time or enter leave. More information and instructions for employees are available on Clemson News.

WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND

The First Friday Parade starts at 6:05 p.m. today. The parade follows Highway 93 from Cherry Road to the Lower Intramural Field. Highway 93 will close at 5:45 p.m. After the parade, men's soccer hosts the UAB Blazers at Historic Riggs Field at 7 p.m.

Kickoff for Clemson Football's season opener against LSU is slated for 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Check out the Gameday Guide for the latest information regarding tickets, parking maps, safety policies and more.
