Hello all,
As summer winds down and the school year begins, we welcome a new 4-H program year soon - bringing fresh opportunities for learning, leadership, and connection.

You can check out our new tentative calendar for the year ahead.

🗓️Enrollment is open NOW through 4-H Online 💻. All members and volunteers - new and returning - are encouraged to complete enrollment early to stay informed as clubs begin meeting and events are scheduled. Re-enrollment ends Oct 1st.

As you select project, you'll notice that some changes have occurred. The 4-H project list has been condensed and simplified. All the projects you're used to are still here. They're just under new project areas. Check out this project guide to assist you, and to learn more about all the projects available!

4-H Senior Leaders: What's that!?

The Sauk County 4-H Senior Leader Association is a dedicated group of volunteers and youth from local 4-H clubs. As a member of 4-H YOU also are a member or volunteer of Senior Leaders! Our group focus on fundraising, recognizing achievements, and promoting county-wide programs to support Sauk County 4-H.

We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Sauk County West Square Building in Baraboo (3rd floor, UW-Extension conference room). You can attend in person or join us via Zoom. Anyone involved in Sauk County 4-H is welcome to attend, and we especially encourage one representative from each club to join us to stay informed.

We're currently updating our bylaws and plan to vote on them at the upcoming September 23rd meeting. Your input is welcome and needed! Visit the link below for meeting minutes, meeing link, and draft bylayws

4-H Members Bring Animals to St. Clare "Care-nival"

In a unique intergenerational initiative, local 4-H members created a petting zoo for a "Care-nival" event at St. Clare, a local nursing home. This collaborative effort featured members from the Circus City and Skillet Creek 4-H Clubs, supported by AmeriCorps members.

Thanks to the Metzger, Wozniak, and Parsons families for provided a variety of animals, including chickens, rabbit, dogs, calf, and even snakes, for residents and their families to enjoy.

Fall Forum Registration: Open!

Fall Forum is an opportunity for youth and adult leaders to attend the statewide training weekend with county and state staff. Planned by a team of youth and adult volunteers from the Wisconsin 4-H Leaders Council with the support of county and state staff; promote to youth and adult leaders in your county! Our hope is that 4-H youth and adult leaders will come together to connect, collaborate, celebrate, and continue building excitement and energy for a new year of 4-H learning.

Senior Leaders would love to provide financial support for any member to attend this event!
