Food Pantry in former Green Zebra store: While work continues on the remodeling of the Food Pantry in Smith's basement, the Pantry is operating out of the former grocery in Parking Structure 2, 1704 SW Broadway. It's just across the street and a block to the left. Learn more about fall hours, volunteer to help at this valuable resource for all students or make an appointment on their website
The food pantry space, formerly the Quiet Prayer lounge, is cleared out in preparation for construction.
The former Quiet Prayer and Meditation Lounge, SMSU 47, was emptied out early this summer in preparation for the expanded Food Pantry. Find out more about recent changes in Smith in our next Smith Scoop.

No materials in the hallways overnight

Smith Management reminds everyone that any materials placed in the hallways during the day are to be removed at night. This includes displays, tables, signage, giveaways and surplus items.
For accessibility and safety reasons, we cannot support permanent displays of materials or long-term tabling in the hallways. When your department or organization is open during the day, you are welcome to “invite” students in with small displays. Do not allow these materials to block passage at doorways or in the corridors.
Smith Rules of Conduct: Review the student union's rules of conduct on the Smith website

No riding in the building

A reminder that scooters, skateboards, one-wheelers, decks, bicycles and other commuting or recreation vehicles cannot be ridden inside Smith.
Bikes should be parked outside or in the nearby bike hubs, not in office spaces or in the building.

If you have any questions about these reminders, please contact Mercedes Youngston

Everyone hopes the campus will be active and engaging this fall. Please help support students — and the University’s work — by keeping Smith a friendly and, accessible place for all.
