The email below will go to all international students and J-1 scholars today. As a reminder, please feel free to share this with your own admitted students, as we primarily have contact information for those students who have already begun their visa process.

Dear International Students and Scholars:

We are writing to inform you that the scheduling of new US visa appointments for F and J visa categories will resume soon with expanded screening and vetting of visa applicants. If you have not yet scheduled your visa appointment, we encourage you to check regularly for available slots, as appointments may fill quickly. Be sure to follow the standard procedure for booking your visa interview with the US embassy or consulate in your area.

However, please be aware that US travel restrictions for citizens of certain countries remain in place, and individuals from these countries are still unable to apply for F and J visas at this time.

If you do not yet have a visa and are not from a restricted country, please continue with the process (information for students | information for scholars).
