Created by Student Government and coordinated by Baylor Intercultural Engagement, Civil Discourse Week is dedicated to equipping the Baylor community with a deeper understanding of and appreciation for civil discourse—what it is, why it matters, and how it can be practiced for the common good. Through engaging events, lectures, and conversations, we aim to foster a culture of respectful dialogue across lines of difference. Rooted: A Sophomore Retreat |
The first ever Sophomore Retreat, now scheduled for April 10 & 11 in Glen Rose, TX, has been designed with you in mind—an opportunity for you to gather with other students and staff members to talk about the big questions such as "What should I do with my life?" and “What should my life be about?" During this overnight experience, you’ll gather in small groups, spend time with new friends, and hear from great speakers in a relaxed setting.

Apply For The Student Foundation Scholarship! |
Applications for The Student Foundation scholarship are now open! The Student Foundation scholarship is $3,000 ($1,500 in each of the fall and spring semesters) and will be awarded for the 2026-2027 academic year. December graduates are eligible only to receive half a scholarship ($1,500 in the fall semester). The scholarship is only good for one year. All current recipients who wish to receive the scholarship in the future must reapply. Apply Here by Sunday, March 29, 2026!
