Reminder! Starting Thursday, March 12th, through Sunday, March 22nd, the UMA Rockland Center will be undergoing renovations. The majority of construction will take place in our front entrance and in the office area, so the Center will not be available during that time. BUT…we will have a temporary office on the 4th floor for those who need in-person assistance.
Our hours during the renovation will be:

Monday-Thursday  8am to 12pm; 1pm to 4:30pm
Friday  8am to 2pm

Look for the signage for the location of our temporary office right down the hall (starting Thursday, March 12th), and as always, we’ll be here for you!

Spring break is right around the corner! No classes will be held Monday, March 16th - Friday, March 20th. UMA Rockland Center will be undergoing renovations during spring break, but an alternate front office will be open on the 4th floor of Breakwater Marketplace to field students' questions. We hope you take this time to rest and rejuvenate to finish out the semester strong!

It's time to starting looking ahead to the fall semester! Wish lists for fall classes opened Monday, March 9th. Enrollment for degree-seeking students begins on March 30th, and open registration begins on April 6th. Set up an appointment with your advisor through the Navigate app or by calling us at 596.6906 to start building your fall class schedule!

Are you a parent pursuing higher education? Higher Opportunity for Pathways to Employment (HOPE) and Parents as Scholars (PaS) are two statewide workforce development programs offered by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. These programs are designed to help parents pursue training and education beyond high school. Follow the link below to learn more and to see if you qualify!

Pies on Parade is a community-wide event that offers people the opportunity to sample delicious sweet and savory pies over the course of a weekend, while providing critical support for AIO Food and Energy Assistance, which serves all of Knox County. RSU 40 is looking for tutors to work with students who are accessing short-term tutorial services in Waldoboro, Union, Friendship, and Warren. All work materials will be provided. The ideal person would need to undergo a criminal history record check through the DOE.
