Dear UCSB Affiliates,
This past May, our Affiliates board, community members, campus partners, and friends gathered at the annual Affiliates Awards Luncheon to celebrate the achievements of outstanding UCSB students. Every year it’s a joyous reminder of what happens when our community invests in education–and this year was no exception!
This year the UCSB Affiliates awarded over $40,000 in scholarship and fellowship funds to 16 deserving students who have demonstrated not only academic excellence but also remarkable leadership and community service. We had recipients share a bit of their personal journeys, reminding us of the diverse paths that lead to success—and the importance of support along the way.
