Registration for Winter Sports, After-School Enrichments, the Little Mermaid Jr. Musical, and Middle School Extended Day NOW OPEN!
Winter season registration will close on SUNDAY, October 20.
St. Michael's believes that important learning happens outside the classroom with purposeful exposure to a broad variety of activities and experiences. After-School Enrichment (ASE) activities and sports provide opportunities for students to explore many different interests and develop new passions.

The following Sports & ASE's will be offered this winter season:


SEASON DATES: The winter sports and ASE seasons begin the week of November 18 and run through February 28. Rehearsals for The Little Mermaid Jr. musical begin October 28.
LOWER SCHOOL: Grades K-5
Mondays:  
  • Imagination Unleashed with ArtHaus for Gr K-5 (3-4:30 p.m.): Ignite your child's passion for art with an immersive journey through the styles and techniques of legendary painters in our art enrichment class.
Tuesdays: 
  • Extreme Animals with Little Scholars for Gr K-2 (3-4 p.m.): Prepared to be amazed by the wonders of the natural world! Your child will uncover the identity of the most dangerous animals on Earth, dive into the bizarre adaptations of the weirdest creatures, and investigate the unique abilities of animals resistant to venom. They will also develop essential science and language skills through hands-on learning!
Wednesdays: 
  • Gadgets, Gizmos, Pressure, and Precipitation with Bricks 4 Kidz for Gr 1-5 (3-4 p.m.): Dive into the captivating world of weather engineering! In this interactive class, students will harness their creativity to construct incredible devices that mimic nature's most impressive phenomena, from a spinning top that dazzles the eyes to a simulated tornado that swirls to life.
Thursdays:  
  • Ping Pong with Pro Skills for Gr 3-5 (3-4:30 p.m.): Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player, our Ping Pong Enrichment will help your child unlock their true potential and take your game to new heights. Get ready to dominate the table tennis court!
Fridays:  
  • Dance Explorations with SPARC for Gr K-2 (3-4 p.m.): Experience the thrill of dance with SPARC this semester!  This is your chance to witness the magic of SPARC on campus, bringing energy and artistry to our community. (SPARC is one of the nation’s most comprehensive, community-based youth performing arts education organizations. SPARC provides an atmosphere where creative expression flourishes, meaningful connections are built, and individuality is celebrated.)

SMBA Intramural Basketball (Co-Ed) for grades 4-6! 
  • St. Michael's Basketball Association (SMBA) intramural basketball is offered to Grades 4-6.
  • A longstanding St M tradition, our SMBA basketball teams are co-ed and foster cross-grade and community relationships. St M alumni eagerly return each year and coach. Our students and families cheer and celebrate the sportsmanship, hard work, and efforts of all of the teams. 
  • SMBA basketball registration for Grades 4-5 will be via the K-5 Active link BELOW.
  • SMBA registration for Middle School Grade 6 will be via the Middle School Winter Sports Google Form BELOW.
MIDDLE SCHOOL: Grades 6-8
  • Interscholastic Swimming
  • Interscholastic Basketball (Tryouts take place the week of November 11
  • SMBA Intramural Basketball (Co-Ed, for Gr 4-6, see description above)

Middle School Musical: The Little Mermaid Jr.

Join us for a musical adventure as St. Michael’s Middle School presents The Little Mermaid Jr!  All registered 6th-8th grade students will be part of the cast and crew.  
As an exciting addition, 5th grade students are invited to be part of the fun and join the cast as troupe singers.  Due to stage space limitations, 5th grade registration is capped at 15 students. 
Every Middle School student registered will be part of the show, and 6th-8th grade students will audition for cast roles once we begin rehearsals in November. 
The four performances take place February 27-March 1.

Middle School Winter Extended Day

Fall Extended Day contracts run through November 15. Winter contracts (secured via the registration link below) cover November 18 - February 28.
Please click the button below to submit your deposit to guarantee a spot in our Winter Extended Day cohort. We offer 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day contract options. 
Pricing is listed in the Google registration Form below. Please register by NOVEMBER 17.
We understand that basketball team assignments will happen at the end of the first week of the season, so please email nreed@stmschool.net once you know what your Winter season Extended Day needs are.
