New drop process starting summer 2017
After a consideration of student feedback and a review of our processes, the advising team for UW-Platteville Distance Learning will implement a more streamlined drop process this summer. The revised process requires fewer steps and puts all the information you need in one place.
If you need to drop your course after registration has closed, you will need to fill out a drop request form. The form is available on our website and provides all the necessary details you need to drop a course. Read more
Deaf culture shapes student's career path
Our students often tell us they are motivated to work in criminal justice because they want to serve their communities and use their talents and skills to make a difference. Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice student Emily Hamstra has that same passion, but also brings a unique skill to her service—she is a registered American Sign Language Interpreter.
In a 2014 study, researchers with the Harvard Business Review surveyed over 330,000 people to determine what skills have the greatest impact on a person’s ability to lead. No matter the field, level within the organization, or other parameters, seven skills rose to the top.
