THE SILVER
STUDENT EXPERIENCE: WELCOME (BACK)!
Welcome (back) Silver students! Whether you are just beginning at Silver, are nearing the finish line, or are somewhere in between — we're excited to be part of your social work journey for another academic year.
First things first, you may have recognized that we have changed our name! Moving forward, our office will now be known as the Office of Career Design & Social Work Readiness (CDR).
While our mission remains the same – to prepare the best career-ready social workers in the profession – our new name more accurately reflects our comprehensive range of offerings to support your development as well as our commitment to critically reimagining how career services are delivered.
We're excited about the future and the renewed energy this name change brings to our work. Expect the same level of robust support, now with a fresh perspective. We, more than ever, look forward to continuing to support your social work journey and remain dedicated to empowering you to design your ideal career path, while also ensuring you are fully prepared for the dynamic and ever-evolving social work profession during your time at Silver and beyond.
