Union County Giving Closet Reverse Advent Calendar: Participate in Union County Giving Closet's Reverse Advent Calendar in December to help local families. Collect one item from the list each day for 24 days, and by the end of the collection, you will have gathered a substantial amount of essential items to donate to the Union County Supplemental Food Program and the Union County Giving Closet, helping those in need in our community. Food Program sign-ups include Community Harvest Hot Meal Program or Lewisburg Mobile Food Distributions on Mondays, McClure Food Distribution or Loaves and Fishes Food Distribution or Union County Supplemental Food Program support on Fridays, Mifflinburg Mobile Food Distribution on Friday, Dec. 20th, Snack Pack Volunteer hours on Tues. morning Dec. 3rd at the Lewisburg Miller Center, or Set Up for Box Packing and/or Box Packing for Mobile Pantries on Mon. Dec. 16th.

Salvation Army Angel Tree: Each year, The Salvation Army serves 30 million people in America, and this holiday season, they are seeking to serve and love beyond all else those in our community who are struggling to make ends meet. Summer ‘25 Community Partner Summer Intern Host Site Applications: If you are a local Community Partner with regional programming addressing community-identified priorities, and you are interested in hosting a Bucknell summer student intern for eight weeks in Summer ‘25, apply here to indicate your interest and describe how you would host a student related to your summer programming and services.
