| IL ABLE Account Informational Session

IL ABLE Accounts make it possible for eligible people with disabilities and their families to save and invest for expenses related to living with a disability without losing, or losing access to, federal means-tested benefits such as SSI, SSDI and Medicaid. This session will cover: 1. IL ABLE account basics and benefits; 2. Eligibility to own and open an IL ABLE account; 3. What is needed to open an IL ABLE account.

Conference Grant Application: Chemical Ventures Conference
Application deadline: Friday, July 19
Interested in attending an AIChE, or AIChE Technical Entity (CCPS, SBE, IMES, IfS, etc.), conference? Apply for support! Support will be awarded on a quarterly first come, first served basis. First time applicants in a calendar year will receive priority over applicants who have already received a grant in the same year (and are now applying for the 2nd, 3rd, etc. conference).
Register for Maroon Mental Health Matters

Join Student Wellness for an upcoming Maroon Mental Health Matters Training: a 3.5-hour training program designed to give participants the skills to help someone experiencing a mental health distress or crisis. Breakfast and snacks will be provided to all participants! Training date: Monday, August 12.

The AEPP (Academic English Pre-Matriculation Program) is an intensive program designed for incoming international students for whom English is an Additional Language (EAL). CEAS M.A. Thesis Prize for Japan Studies, 2024
Application deadline: Thursday, August 15
The Center for East Asian Studies sponsors an annual prize of $250 awarded for the best University of Chicago M.A. thesis dealing with topics related to Japan. The selection committee considers the specific content, regional focus, and methodologies of annual submissions. Preference will be provided to papers utilizing original source materials in an East Asian language. Students in 2-year and 3-year terminal M.A. programs are eligible to apply for this Prize in the year they complete their M.A. thesis requirement.
