St. Michael’s strives to meet the needs of children and families beyond the traditional school day for all of our students, K-8. A number of scheduling options offer care after school dismissal on a traditional day.

The core Extended Day program is offered from 3-6 p.m. every day that School is in session. We offer 2-day, 3-day and 5-day care options.

Advance registration is required, and now is the time to reserve your spot!

Drop-Ins

Need drop-in care only occasionally?

Families who desire a single day of Lower School Extended Day from time to time may take advantage of a daily rate of $23 from 3-4:30 p.m. or $39 from 3-6 p.m. Requests must be submitted by 2 p.m. of the day needed. The procedure will be circulated in August.

Noon Dismissals & Conference Days are offered on a drop-in basis only and have been excluded from the core program's price points. A drop-in request form with price points will be shared with parents in August.

Noon Dismissals (12 p.m. - 6 p.m.) September 16, December 16, March 3, and March 24

Conference Days (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.) November 7, April 6

Policies & Deadlines

Open enrollment closes on June 5. After this point, registrations can be made by emailing Ashley Buffey, Director of Extended Programs and contracts will be granted where space is available.

Contracts may be adjusted until September 23, 2022, so long as the student remains enrolled in the program. The total tuition cost can be paid in full or divided into 9 monthly installments, each with a $200 non-refundable deposit.

Middle School Extended Day

Middle School Extended Day is available Monday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. in the Middle School Allen Library. We offer 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day care options.

Due to the vast co-curricular offerings at the Middle School (e.g., athletics, theater, etc.), enrollment in the Middle School Core Extended Day program is done seasonally (fall, winter, spring) rather than annually. Look for this registration opportunity when Fall Sports & Enrichment for K-8 launches in August!
