We're In The Spirit! With big smiles and joyful hearts, St. Michael's welcomed the holiday season in a BIG way this past week... with a memorable Christmas parade complete with grade-level floats, a tree lighting of an 18-foot tree, beautiful musical performances by the Fifth Grade Chorus and the Middle School Choir, the North Pole Post, and group caroling. What fun! (The floats knocked our socks off!)
We're in the spirit and hope you are, too!

North Pole Post
It's not the holidays at St M without a spirited visit from everyone's favorite Elf!
Be sure to drop off your letters to Santa in our North Pole Post in front of Hubbard Hall by December 19! (P.S. We're quite sure ALL of our Dragons are on the NICE list!)
You'll see in THIS VIDEO BELOW that we caught the Elf's latest hijinks on camera!

12 Days of Reading Challenge
On the first day of Christmas break, my librarian gave to me, a nice cozy holiday read! Grab your favorite reading materials and join in the Lower School's 12 Days of Reading Challenge!
Snuggle up with a cozy book (or four) this holiday break! Complete at least 4 of the 16 activities to earn a special prize in January. Finish all 16, and you'll get a bonus prize! If there's an activity you can't do (like reading in a vehicle or to an animal), just double up on another square. Remember to write your name and teacher's name on the challenge sheet, mark off completed activities, have an adult sign it, and return it to Mrs. Bryan-Diehl after break. Happy Holidays and Happy Reading
PS: Save the date for the St M BOOK FAIR, January 27-29!
