Final Call for Voter Registration |
October 11 is the deadline to register to vote in person on Election Day! If you haven't registered yet, now is the time. Make sure you're ready to participate in this year's elections. If you miss the deadline, same-day registration is available at early voting locations. Visit the Duke Votes website for information. Don’t forget to make sure you have an acceptable form of voter ID before heading to the polls!

Recognize members of the Duke community who foster belonging and positive relations for the Black community. Nominations are open for Duke staff, administrators, faculty, and students (undergraduate, graduate, or professional).
Awards include the Raymond Gavins Distinguished Faculty Award and Cook Society Awards for one staff member, one undergraduate student, and one professional/graduate student.

Journalist Nathan Thrall will join Professor Rebecca Stein for a conversation about his latest book, A Day in the Life of Abed Salama, winner of the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction. The book details the true story of Abed and Milad Salama, a father and son, who navigate the maze of physical, emotional, and bureaucratic obstacles they must face as Palestinians.

We will collage, draw, and fold our way into small book making that can reflect personal ideas, big statements, or just be a lovely place to put lovely things.
