How to prevent termites from moving in |
Did you know that Florida is considered the termite capital of the United States? The state boasts an average of 13 or 14 termite colonies per acre, each colony with up to a whopping 2.6 million termites. These destructive critters thrive in Florida’s warm and humid climate and cause more than $5 billion in damage annually across the U.S.
Given these statistics, it’s crucial to obtain and maintain an annually renewable termite bond on your home by a licensed termite control professional. While this bond is a good safety net, there are several other actions you can take to prevent infestation in your home.

Universal Nissan Hyundai Genesis:
Your drive to give fuels our mission to serve!
|
This week we want to shout out our thanks to one of our dedicated supporters: Universal Nissan Hyundai Genesis! We're so grateful for their generous support of our last two Homes Fore All golf tournaments.
We asked General Manager Eric Matos why they chose to support affordable housing:
"The mission of Habitat falls right in line with our goals at Universal Nissan Hyundai Genesis and that is to serve the families of Orlando in the same regard they serve us," Matos said. "Without our families we would not exist. It is our biggest mission to give back to the community that gives to us."
