Resources for Career Pathways

Check out these career exploration and curriculum resources:
This material is offered for free to STEM educators and gives two options: Pilot and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (drones). Each pathway is four years in length, and schools can decide to implement one or more complete pathways, or select individual courses to use as standalone electives. Schools may now apply to use the ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade courses in the  upcoming school year.
Experience a virtual field trip to explore engineering careers. Register for tours now through May 13, or download the teacher toolkit for other options.
The Construction Careers Pathway (CCP) Alliance is part of a collaborative effort to provide year-round construction career exploration opportunities for Minnesota youth. It is the intent of the CCP Alliance to provide work-based learning exposure starting in middle school and concluding with a career in the Minnesota construction industry.
MNCARS will come to your school or community to deliver a presentation about career opportunities in the automotive service and collision repair industry. If you’re interested, email info@carcareers.org.
Build Your Future aims to be the catalyst for recruiting the next generation of craft professionals. They provide a collaborative grassroots approach to construction workforce forecasting and development that includes recruitment, training, placement, retention and image enhancement strategies.
Explore trades and manufacturing careers, find training programs with scholarships, and land a job. Start the journey!
Please check out all of the information on the 218Trades website to help your students discover the great career possibilities.
