After a rich collaboration in the spring of 2018, we're thrilled to announce that we are once again working with the nationally acclaimed storytelling organization and podcast, The Moth!
When we last worked with The Moth, our weekend-long workshop culminated in a Community Story Share, where members of our disability community told newly crafted stories from their wide range of experiences.
Too often stories about individuals with disabilities are limited and one-dimensional, if they appear at all. It was powerful to witness the every day stories of individuals with disabilities, told in their own words. Some participants also shared at the monthly public Moth StorySLAM at The Amsterdam Bar, expanding narratives around disability in a sold-out show!
