Elections Information
JASA will be holding a session covering voting information. It is on Oct 22 starting at 1 PM. If you are interested in going call 212.273.5320 or click here.
  • Tuesday, Oct 27:  Deadline to request an absentee ballot online 
  • Sat. October 24 - Sun. November 1: Early Voting Period
  • Tuesday, Nov. 3 - Election Day
    Here is the link to get your absentee ballot. Anyone can use the pandemic as a reason for their absentee ballot.

    In NYC call 866-868-3692, Board of Elections with any questions. 


    New York state voters will now be able to return their absentee ballots to drop boxes at their local Board of Elections offices starting immediately. You will also be able to drop ballots off at Early Voting sites from Oct. 24 to Nov. 1, or at polling sites on Election Day, which falls on Tuesday, Nov. 3.


    • IMPORTANT INFORMATION! Meal Delivery from NYC Get Food Program -If you are receiving meal deliveries, drivers are required to call you on the phone before they can deliver the meal. Please answer your phone on the day you expect a delivery. If you do not answer they are not allowed to leave the food. You will have to wait for your next delivery day.

    RSS has a number of groups including:
    Savvy Solos Led by Selina Ng.

    Support Group for Caregivers that are Caring for A Parent or Grandparent with Dementia. The group is led by Peter Swanson, Director of the RSS Adult Day Program for Memory Loss. The group is online. Email Peter at pswanson@rssny.org to learn more.
