Deadline Extended: National Plan for Vacation Day Lodging Promotion Due Friday, Jan. 7

In celebration of National Plan for Vacation Day on January 25, Travel Oregon and the Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association invite lodging properties across Oregon to join this national campaign by offering a 20% discount to guests who book their vacation on Jan. 25-28 for a future stay.
Thank you to those of you who have submitted your participation form. If you’re interested and have not yet submitted your form, please do so by Friday, January 7 at 5 p.m. Forms submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. We request that all properties offer a 20% discount using the code “OregonVacation.”

    Governor's Conference Registration to Open January 12

    Registration for the 2022 Oregon Governor’s Conference on Tourism will open January 12.  Focused on “Future Forward” content, keynote speakers and workshop session topics will include destination management, branding, climate change, and equity and inclusion. Look for an announcement next week with a registration link and lodging information.
    All registrants will be required to show proof of the COVID-19 vaccine or provide a negative test result upon entry to the conference at Sunriver Resort. More details will be available on the conference website soon.

      COVID Recovery Training: The Return of International Inbound Travel, Feb. 2

      Join Travel Oregon for the International Inbound Travel Association (IITA) Steps to Success, an international inbound training program that will provide you clear and achievable steps to obtain international business via the inbound travel trade. With an understanding on how to work with the travel trade, you can create new business partnerships while developing the necessary resources to bring international visitors to Oregon. Whether you are new to the industry or a veteran of working with the travel trade, come update your knowledge and hear from industry peers about what is expected and vital for the return of international inbound travel.
