OKMPA Hosts Annual Meeting with PitchFest OF+MO is proud to sponsor The Oklahoma Motion Picture Alliance (OKMPA) Annual Meeting on October 18. Taking place at Meridian Tech’s Guthrie Campus, the event will welcome visiting studio executives as well as feature a variety of industry professionals specializing in distribution, casting, television, film, music and more. Attendees can expect a day of panels, networking and the opportunity to sign up for Pitchfest to pitch their project to studio reps.

Making Reagan Book Signing and Film Discussion Event Join OF+MO on October 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Full Circle Bookstore for a book signing and discussion for Making Reagan written by Mark Joseph, a producer of the Oklahoma movie “Reagan.” Joined by Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell, Joseph will share the story behind the movie and conclude with an audience Q&A. More details to come.

Another 48 Hours in Atoka Celebrates 50 Years Celebrating its 50th anniversary, OF+MO is proud to sponsor Another 48 Hour Music Festival, which returns November 1 in Atoka, Okla. Since its origin in 1975, this event keeps the tradition and history of the original 48 Hour Music Festival alive for generations with a focus on community and arts in southeast Oklahoma. This year's music lineup includes Jacquie Roar, Jairumiah Ford Band, Josh Weathers, Emily Hollingshed and more. This FREE event highlights the longstanding tradition and roots that connect the festival to the birthplace of Outlaw Country Music.

Registration Now Open for 2025 Oklahoma Veterans Film Competition The Oklahoma Veterans Film Competition invites students from across Oklahoma to create short films documenting the stories of our military veterans with the top films earning a chance to win cash prizes. High school and career tech students can submit their short films now through November 11.

OSU-Tulsa Offers Directing on a Budget Course Learn the basics and techniques of directing through Directing on a Budget, a hands-on course offered by the Center for Poets and Writers at OSU-Tulsa. Taught by Matthew Thomas Foss (“Sironia,” “The Rise and Fall of an RA”) through lectures and screenings, attendees will learn the creative process from pre-production to post, and the important skills needed to direct a micro-budget project. Classes will be held at the Tulsa campus November 3, 10 and 17 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Applications Now Open for Tulsa on Tour Music Ambassador Program OF+MO is proud to support our partners at the Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture with their newest music initiative, Tulsa on Tour. This ambassador program empowers local musicians to represent Tulsa globally, elevating both their careers and Tulsa's reputation as a premier music destination, while helping offset the costs of touring for the program’s awarded applicants. Ambassadors are eligible to receive between $250 to $1,000 per tour. Applicants will be accepted on a first-come basis while funds last. Applications are due by the 15th of the month before your tour begins.
