National Endowment for the Arts awards $95,000 in grants to Nebraska Organizations
With todays announcement of $95,000 in grants to five Nebraska arts organizations, the National Endowment for the Arts is continuing its efforts to provide all Americans with the opportunity to participate in and experience the arts.
Art Works is the National Endowment for the Arts' principal grant making program. The Arts Endowment convened panels to review 1,605 eligible applications for funding and the agency will award 972 grants ranging from $10,000 - $100,000 totaling more than $25 million. Nebraska organizations receiving funding from Art Works include:

To support the Artist-in-Residencies program.

To support a series of curated films and related public programming.

To support PlayFest, a part of the annual Great Plains Theatre Conference.
Nebraska Writers Collective

To support a youth poetry writing program.
