Bertolino Outlines Plans to Be South Jersey’s College of Choice
|
President Joe Bertolino highlighted accomplishments from the previous year and focused on the needs ahead as he laid out his vision for Stockton in his second annual State of the University address on Nov. 12.
“I set out in my first year to truly listen to our community, and saw our campus come alive with the energy of students, faculty and staff. Every conversation I have, every story I hear, deepens my admiration for Stockton,” Bertolino told the audience of faculty, staff and students.

High Schoolers Invited to Join Campus Community on Latino Visitation Day
|
The high schoolers had the opportunity to hear from Jessica Ramirez '98, a proud Stockton alumna and assemblywoman for New Jersey’s 32nd legislative district in Jersey City and Hoboken.
“I found something really beautiful at Stockton – I found a community that welcomed me, believed in me and pushed me to be the best version of myself,” Ramirez said.

Council of Black Faculty and Staff Hosts 40th Annual Scholarship Award Dinner
|
The Council of Black Faculty and Staff at Stockton University commemorated four decades of community at its 40th Annual Scholarship Award Dinner and Dance on Nov. 14.
The event, held at The Carriage House in Galloway, celebrated the council’s longstanding contributions to Stockton by honoring individuals who have made significant impacts on advancing educational opportunities for African American and underrepresented students.
