2018 Black History Month Event Planning Committee

Good Day.

I am writing to announce a special College of Public Service event for Black History Month, in February 2018. Such an event is appropriate given TSU’s proud tradition as an HBCU, coupled with the importance of cultural awareness for excellence across all areas of public service.

At this point, we are inviting students who would like to help in planning this event. This planning meeting will occur during the week of December 11. Volunteers from across the College of Public Service (Departments of Public Administration and Social Work & Urban Studies) are welcome! Our goal is for the Black History Month event to be student-designed and student-led.
