Use Your Tax Refund to Make an Impact ...
A tax refund marks a great chance to make a charitable donation. If you’re expecting a windfall from the IRS, consider donating to Camp Newaygo's Capital Campaign.
Be an Everyday Hero. Help Camp Newaygo complete the Building a Healthy Future Campaign for Health, Leadership, and the Arts to make all this possible. Since 2016 when we started the campaign, $1.4 million has been raised.
We seek to raise $850,000 more over the next four months to reach our goal before the Health and Leadership Lodge’s grand opening.
When the Camp Newaygo Advisory Board discussed the Building a Healthy Future Capital Campaign, it considered that combining three major facility projects and establishing a fund reserve in one campaign might be more than we could handle. But with Camp Newaygo’s usage growing from 3,553 participants in 2009, when Lang Lodge’s winterization was completed, to 12,104 in 2017 (a 384 percent increase), it was felt now was the time for action.
To meet the requirements of Camp Newaygo’s summer state licensing, we have moved forward on the campaign’s final project with the Health and Leadership Lodge’s completion targeted for summer.
We are spending money now, and must complete the campaign. Help us reach our goal!
You can do so by:
• Making a first-time or repeat donation in cash
• Increasing a one-time donation into a multi-year pledge
• Extending your previous generous pledge by one, two or three years
• Donating appreciated stock directly to camp and possibly avoiding income or capital gains taxes, allowing your gift to be more impactful.
