Sanford Serves Continues with a New Goal |
Sanford Serves Update: We have exceeded our initial goal and are continuing the initiative! We set out to collectively serve 100 hours of service for 100 years of Duke. We have logged 2,092 hours with 114 alumni joining the initiative. To mark the remaining of our centennial year and in honor of the 100th Duke class graduating in May 2025, our new goal is to have 100 more Duke alumni join #SanfordServes!
Have you been wanting to join the initiative and receive a t-shirt? We invite you to come together around a public service mission and service-learning opportunity of your choosing to commit your time and resources to addressing this opportunity and to reflect on how you, as an engaged citizen, can show leadership in moving your community forward.

Do you remember PubPol 804 (Public Policy Analysis II) and the 48 Hour Memo assignment? This year’s MPP students will start their 72-Hour Memo in early January and the Sanford Development and Alumni Relations team will be hosting a breakfast to kick-off their assignment.
This is where you come in! We would like to share alumni well-wishes and encouragement with them. To share your wishes or an unforgettable moment from your memo experience, submit a note below. As a bonus, two participating alums will be randomly chosen to receive Sanford swag.
