PEC Hosting Series of Preceptor Dialogues
The NATA’s Professional Education Committee announces the first of an anticipated series of preceptor dialogues intended to further the momentum gained from 2019’s Preceptor Development Forum. The goal is to continue to cultivate the identity of clinicians as educators and offer collaborative opportunities to develop a community of practice within clinical education. The format of these dialogues will be a panel discussion with preceptors from multiple practice settings, a student and a coordinator of clinical education to discuss considerations for clinical education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Watch the Second ICSM COVID-19 Panel Discussion
The NATA Intercollegiate Council for Sports Medicine concluded its two-part online panel discussion series with Session 2: Resuming Sports Safely and Preparing for COVID-19 Recurrence. Council members from every level of collegiate play discussed the ICSM Return-to-Campus and Activity Recommendations document in detail.
