According to weather experts, meteorological fall arrived on September 1. Back in our school days, we learned that fall starts on the autumnal equinox, when day and night are of equal length — September 22 this year. Regardless of the date on the calendar, September ushers in a fresh, new season that’s perfect for RVing. Drive a scenic route bursting with color; stop by a pumpkin patch; enjoy crisp evenings around the campfire. Attend an FRVA rally!

Celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary at FRVA’s 113th International Convention & RV Expo, titled 250 Years of Red, White & Blue, which takes place July 1-4, 2026, at the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia. Motorsports fans enjoy high-speed thrills at Circuit of the Americas, a 1,500-acre complex near downtown Austin. Just steps away from the track, COTA RV Park offers year-round camping, where FRVA members receive a 10 percent discount.
