Market Livestock Project Updates

Market Livestock Educational Requirements:
To qualify for the Fond du Lac County Market Livestock Sale, members must have a minimum of 8 educational points, 2 points coming from YQCA Certification.  
YQCA Certification:  
To qualify for the Fond du Lac County Market Livestock Sale, youth must be YQCA certified each year. This training is provided online at http://yqcaprogram.org. Please complete the online training at your convenience, and once completed please email a copy of your certificate to Tina Kohlman at tina.kohlman@wisc.edu. YQCA Certification will count 2 points towards the minimum 8 points needed to qualify for the Fond du Lac County Market Livestock Sale.

Traveling Exhibition 

Check out the traveling 2023 Visual Arts Festival exhibit at the Gallery & Frame Shop.  This traveling art exhibit celebrates several of the award winners. It is featured in the front south window and runs through June 2nd. Thanks again for hosting the exhibition in Fond du Lac County!

Foodie Camp Registration Closes June 2

4-H Graduation

If you are eligible to graduate from 4-H (grade 12 and 13 members), please complete this graduation survey before Friday, June 23 indicating whether you will be graduating or staying with the 4-H program one additional year. 4-H members are wearing shirts, skirts, dresses, robes, hats and pants that they either made or purchased for the Fashion Revue.

Fashion Revue Registration closes June 2

All 4-H members in the clothing, crocheting, knitting, cloverbud, consumer savvy, and exploring projects are invited to participate. Participants will be graded on the garment itself, their creativity in the project, and the overall appearance of the garment on the model. On the night of the event, please arrive wearing the garment that will be judged as youth will model the garment. Register in 4HOnline. See more details here.

Foods Revue Registration Closes June 2

4-H members in Foods, Cloverbud, or Exploring projects plan a menu, prepare a food item, and present the menu and food item creatively through a table setting. Youth speak with a judge about the elements of menu planning and the food they have prepared. Various prizes are awarded. This year's theme is CHEESE!
