It's that time of year -- the temperature dips, Jack Frost nips, and holiday shopping is in full swing! We've stocked our Holiday Pop-Up Shop with fun and festive St. Michael's-themed gifts and stocking stuffers for all of your Dragon loved ones!
The Pop-Up Shop will be OPEN:
- Dates: Thursday and Friday, December 6-7
- Hours: 7:30-9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m, 2:30-4:30 p.m.
- Location: Lower School Hubbard Hall Dragon's Den (the door to the far left of the front door. Follow the signs!
- Pricing: Most items $15 and under
- Parking: For ease of access, the "green" parking lot between Hubbard Hall and Singleton Hall will be OPEN during non-carpool hours. During carpool hours, please feel free to park in the East Gym parking lot and walk up.
Featuring exciting St M items like pop-sockets, knee socks, dragon stuffed animals, hair ribbons, metal water bottles, blue and white logo car magnets, glass ornaments, cell phone smart wallets, winter hats, visors and headbands, cinch bags, belts, key fobs and more! (NOTE: Middle School students will have an option to shop during lunch recess if they so desire.)
Our Holiday Pop-Up Shop is a perfect way to show your DRAGON PRIDE while picking up St M stocking stuffers and holiday gifts!

8th Grade Winter ExamsThe School administers 8th grade exams to help students learn to take the kind of cumulative exams they will experience in high school. Below is a schedule by subject for 8th grade exams so students know the order of exams. - Thursday, December 13: Geography
- Friday, December 14: Math
- Monday, December 17: Spanish
- Tuesday, December 18: English
- Wednesday, December 19: Science (NOON DISMISSAL)

Winter Break CampNeed childcare for winter break? Or some alone time to do holiday shopping?
St M is partnering with Challenge Island to host Camp Jingle, a winter camp for grades K-5 on December 20-21.

Give the gift of reading this holiday season! The SMPA (in partnership with bbgb bookshop) is selling Book Fair Gift Certificates that can be redeemed during the all-school Book Fair, January 28-31.

Lower School Fruit and Vegetable Challenge Winner
It was exciting to watch our Lower School students embrace the Fruit and Vegetable Challenge. Our Dragons ate a whopping 1745 healthy servings! The winning grade this year is FIRST GRADE! They will earn an extra P.E. class and fruit party.

A Baby Dragon!It is an exciting time for St M Chaplin Christian Hansen and his wife Nicole as they welcomed their first child, Margaret Kathryn, into the world on November 5. Please join us in extending congratulations and best wishes to Christian and Nicole. Babies are certainly one of life's greatest gifts!
