New Online EnrollmentAs part of an ongoing commitment to improve technology (stemming from our Strategic Plan) and to make things easier for parents via the digital world, St. Michael's is excited to announce that we will be implementing a new digital student information system, called PowerSchool, which will alleviate the need for lots of handwritten forms. (Hurray!)
The first step in the rollout of PowerSchool is new digital re-enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year for current St. Michael's families. In lieu of sending out paper contracts, next week families will receive emails that will explain the new online re-enrollment process, as well as directions on how to create and access your family's PowerSchool account. Stay tuned!

K-8 Service Outreach Project Robin Telfian, a St. Michael’s parent, oversees a non-profit called Shood (formerly Soles2Share) that is “dedicated to providing new and gently used athletic shoes to homeless individuals and those who are living in poverty in Richmond.” As part of a school-wide service outreach initiative, St. Michael’s is partnering with Shood to collect gently-used shoes and personal care items from February 11-March 6. Our students will then assemble foot care bags for Shood. Each grade will collect a different item. (See attached for more information.)
Mrs. Telfian will come to St M on February 11 and 14 to talk to our Middle Schoolers about Shood. Chaplain Hansen will be visiting with each of the Lower School grades to read the book F our Feet, Two Sandals as an entry point into discussions on "why we are doing this service?" Thank you in advance for your support!
