Interested in speaking at your upcoming graduation?
Make your mark on Georgia Tech’s history! One student will be selected for each of the four ceremonies to present an inspirational speech of two to three minutes for classmates, families, and guests.
The deadline to submit your reflection speech with video is Thursday, November 2 by 12 p.m.

Additional Opportunity: Make Memories at the Georgia Aquarium this Family Day Weekend
|
Georgia Tech grad students and their families are invited to visit the Georgia Aquarium this Friday, October 20, from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. A ticket includes admission to the Aquarium as well as the Sea Lion Show at 7 and 8 p.m., and one Dolphin Show at 7 p.m. All shows are first come, first serve, with capacity limitations. Georgia Tech grad students pay $34.95! Parking is not included, but a free shuttle bus will run between the John Lewis Student Center and the Aquarium throughout the evening.
To purchase a ticket, join the Yellow Jacket Family Hive, the Parent and Family Program’s portal. When registering, you can enter Burdell (or your name of choice) as your student’s name.

Funding Opportunity: Apply for the Chateaubriand Fellowship
|
The Chateaubriand Fellowship is a grant offered by the Embassy of France in the United States. It supports outstanding Ph.D. students from U.S. institutions who wish to conduct part of their doctoral research in France. There will be an informational webinar held on October 24, 2023, at 11:45 a.m. EST. It will conclude at 12:30 p.m. EST. Individuals must fill out the Google Questionnaire to receive the Zoom link, which will be provided closer to the webinar date.

In collaboration with Georgia Tech, Atlanta- and California-based artists, NI DO TO journeys through ancestral joy, historical trauma, and community resilience with the narrative of Japanese American incarceration during World War II. Open now at the Ferst Center for the Arts, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. , Tuesday – Saturday, through Oct. 27.
