Good morning! Clemson has announced a strategic collaboration with Labcorp to improve healthcare, education and workforce development throughout the state. Faculty and Staff Senate elections begin soon; The Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine welcomed its inaugural class with a personal touch.

What to know today:

Clemson University has announced a strategic collaboration with Labcorp, a global leader of innovative and comprehensive laboratory services, to improve healthcare access, expand educational programs and support workforce development throughout South Carolina.

Staff members are encouraged to nominate themselves or colleagues by March 4 to fill vacant Staff Senate seats from 14 budget centers for the 2026-2029 term. Emails were sent to staff in eligible budget centers with more information.

Ongoing Faculty Senate elections will conclude in March. If you have not already heard from your college’s election coordinator and would like to run for Faculty Senate, contact senate@clemson.edu.

The Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine recently marked a historic milestone, with faculty and staff personally calling each of the 80 students selected for the inaugural class to offer them a seat. The moment marks the beginning of the College's mission in advancing animal and public health across South Carolina and beyond.

Celia Castellano, a graduate student in the Master of Landscape Architecture program, received first place in Clemson Libraries’ first-ever Graduate Student Data Visualization Competition. The event gave graduate students a chance to showcase their skills in creating visual representations and data presentations.
