Ash Wednesday All-School ChapelWednesday, February 26
8:20 a.m., Singleton Gym
We will administer ashes at this service to all students who wish to receive. Your child is by no means required to receive ashes but is invited to engage in this annual practice that marks the beginning of the Lenten season in the Episcopal Church. All children will walk forward with their classmates, though if any students do not wish to receive ashes, they may cross their arms over their chests to receive a simple blessing. Please talk with your child(ren) about your own faith tradition(s) and how that informs your family's choice about how they will participate.
Parents are invited to join us for this Ash Wednesday chapel service or are welcome to attend Ash Wednesday services at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church at noon or 7 p.m.
Click HERE for more details and clarity regarding student participation in both upcoming St M Lenten programs: Ash Wednesday on February 26 and the Maundy Thursday Eucharist on April 9.

Things to bring: Rakes, gloves, clippers, walking/outdoor shoes, water. We will meet outside the Lower School library door. Hope to see you there!
