Dear 4-H Families,
Promotion, Oxford Dictionary defines it as “the publicization of a product, organization, or venture so as to increase sales or public awareness. "a sales promotion company".
I like to think of the Dodge County Fair as a huge promotion opportunity for Dodge County 4-H.
During Fair week, youth are sharing their educational knowledge they have gained over the year with leaders, judges and the public. They are having an opportunity to showcase what they learned through an exhibit at the county fair.
I also like to encourage youth and families to wear 4-H shirts to help promote some of the 4-H programs that are offered. Here is the schedule for the week:
|
-
Wednesday- 4-H camp day (summer camp, day camp, arts camp)
- Thursday- 4-H Member experience (trips)/state program (Fall Forum) or a Past 4-H shirt (Movement/Sparks/tie dye)
- Friday- New County 4-H shirt day. Can't wait to see the one that you got this summer!
- Saturday- 4-H club t-shirt day. Let's see all the cool 4-H club shirts!
-
Sunday- 4-H project day shirt

Have a great week,

State-fair (See Photo in Hats Off Section)
This year's Wisconsin State Fair Junior Dairy Show was a great week with what we think was our biggest group to date! We are fortunate to have the largest junior dairy show in the country at our back door. The kids did a bang-up job representing Dodge County dairy youth in the show ring. It was a great week of fun, learning, working hard, and success! Thank you to Mandy Sell-Stanford and Travis Smith for their continued leadership with this show.
