WHO:
Texas Christian University will celebrate more than 2,800 candidates for graduation, including 68 students with an expected 4.0 grade point average, one student who is a candidate for triple degrees, 44 students who are candidates for double degrees and Latin Honors are expected to be awarded to more than 1,400 candidates. Graduates hail from 47 states and 49 countries (including the U.S.).
WHAT:
TCU will celebrate the Class of 2026 with a new commencement celebration on Friday, May 8, that is designed to accommodate TCU's continued growth while preserving tradition. Hosted by Chancellor Daniel W. Pullin and Provost Floyd L. Wormley Jr., the all-university commencement ceremony marks the official conferring of degrees complete with inspiring speakers, proud traditions, cheering family members and friends and a spectacular fireworks finale.

WHY:
As TCU’s enrollment continues to grow, the university has reimagined commencement to create a shared celebration for the entire graduating class while continuing to allow graduates to invite as many guests as they like. The all-university ceremony on Friday, May 8, is paired with individual academic convocations, preserving the tradition of walking across the stage for each graduate.

If you are sending a photographer, videographer or reporter to the May 8 all-university commencement, you must notify TCU Communications by noon on Thursday, May 7. This will allow our team to accommodate all requests. Information on parking and where to pick up media credentials will be provided when you R.S.V.P.
