In a few short days, we will celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2022. We are excited to celebrate their new beginning alongside them and their families. This academic year has been marked by moments of transition and celebration. As we count the days to the end of the semester, we hope that you will continue to pause and take in those moments of silence that remind us to be grateful for each step we take and for moments of joy and wonder.

Are you a trained acolyte/altar server or someone who would like to learn how to be an acolyte/altar server at our liturgies? University Ministry is looking for a few current students who would like to become acolytes/altar servers at our student liturgies and commencement liturgies, including the Spring Commencement Mass on Thursday, May 19! The wait is now over! Leap of Faith will take place in Bilbao, Spain. A group of twelve undergraduate students will join us for a trip of a lifetime. The immersion will provide students with the opportunity to meet students from Loyola Andalucia and other Jesuit Universities across Spain. During this immersion, they will learn about a different culture, visit historical sites, deepen our spirituality, and reimagine our actions in the world.

Leap of Faith is a once-in-a-lifetime formative experience to celebrate the 500 years of St. Ignatius's conversion. This is an immersion for students who are looking to explore, reflect, and expand on their spirituality.

Undocumented Migrant Association Program (UMAP) joined community partners, Catholic Charities and Mission Asset Fund, on April 29, to share resources for DACA application renewals. Our USF community partners, including the Office of Financial Aid, Immigration and Deportation Defense Clinic, and the Working Group to Support Undocumented Students, were present to share information with participants. Hebrew San Francisco: Ulpan and Arabic San Francisco are two three-week intensive language programs offered by the Swig Program in Jewish Studies and Social Justice. We welcome anyone interested in the Hebrew or Arabic language, and offer multiple levels of instruction in small class settings.
