Menu:  Red beans and rice with sausage, cole slaw, green salad, garlic bread, fruit, dessert, tea and lemonade.  Kids Option:  Pizza
Tonight we begin our fall semester programs for children, youth and adults. No preparation needed, just come out and jump right in to the introductory meeting of one of these classes:

BUNK BED BLITZ

Share God's love through a good night's sleep when we come together as a church family to sand, stain and assemble bunk beds.  Our "Church Trolls" have been busy this week, cutting and preparing all the necessary components. YOU just need to wear old clothes and come ready to work: we have homes for as many beds as we can build. If you have a palm sander or heavy duty extension cord, please bring them along. There will be pizza, cookies and drinks to keep you full of energy.

Help for the Homeless
This is the FINAL WEEK of PHUMC's men's clothing drive for Grace Place in Jackson. Finish cleaning out those closets, and bring your gently worn, (or never worn!), items to church this Sunday.  We will deliver all of your donations to downtown Jackson for you!
Remember what a joy it was to celebrate worship with our friends from Anderson United Methodist Church last April?  Mark your calendars for our next opportunity for joint worship: Wednesday, November 16th.  This time, they would like to host us at their church.  We'll eat, sing, and pray together - you don't want to miss it!  We encourage ALL of you to be there!
Christmas is Coming!
This Sunday at 5:30 pm, the Adult Choir begins preparing for our annual Christmas Cantata! (It's scheduled for December 11th.)  If you have been thinking about singing, or if you've sung in the past and would like to again, we sure would love to have you!  Come one, come all and join the Music Ministry of Parkway Hills for Christmas and beyond. You know you want to!  Please contact Philip if you have any questions or if you need us to arrange childcare for you.
 Four young girls are anxiously awaiting the new bunk beds that have been carefully finished in their favorite bright colors! Thanks to all who spent the last two Sunday afternoons painting.
