Quarter 3 Reports

Quarter 3 reports are due today. Please reach out to your contract administrator if you need more time to complete or need help accessing your agency link.

2025 Consolidated Contract Negotiations:

2025 Consolidated Contract Negotiations should be wrapping up. Complete your Supplement, GAC entry, and detailed budget by Friday, November 1, 2024.

MCH Program materials can be viewed on the Division of Public Health Grants and Contracts (GAC) website. The 2025 MCH Objectives are also now available in the Grants and Contract (GAC) System along with 2025 funding amounts which can be accessed here.

I recently took youth and kids from my neighborhood to UW Madison to explore public health and healthcare professions. Students in the MPH program shared their stories and motivations, including challenges when translating for their family in healthcare settings and wanting to show their siblings what is possible. The youth were captivated, reminding me of the power of our stories.

The SAMHSA Substance Use Prevention Month toolkit provides resources, social media messages, graphics, and activities to promote substance use prevention and share personal prevention stories, aiming to inspire action and highlight the positive impact of prevention efforts on communities.

Looking Ahead to November

November is National Homelessness Awareness Month and National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. The SAMHSA toolkit provides resources, and social media messaging to address homelessness among individuals with mental and substance use disorders. It aims to promote housing stability, recovery, and the end of homelessness through partnerships with federal, state, and local entities.
