Dr. Punnoose teaches two Acting Internships: Cardiology and Cardiac Critical Care.
|
|
When teaching, Dr. Punnoose enjoys getting questions from students and says, "They push me to really go back and review the fundamentals, to explain mechanisms of disease, and how to think through diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to patients." Her daily life as a doctor varies and can include being on call in the Cardiac Critical Unit, fielding calls overnight, and being in clinic all day. Luckily, she usually can fit in one administrative day per week to call patients and work on administrative tasks!
